Golem Encounters
High-Threat Anomaly
Golems are among the most dangerous Phenomenon-created entities. Approach with extreme caution and only deploy your most capable operatives.
What are Golems?
Golems are massive, autonomous constructs created or transformed by the Phenomenon. They appear to be composed of various materials - stone, metal, organic matter, or unknown substances - animated by Phenomenon energy. Their origins remain mysterious, though theories suggest they're either:
- •Failed experiments in harnessing Phenomenon power
- •Spontaneous manifestations in areas of high Phenomenon concentration
- •Remnants of individuals who succumbed to Phenomenon corruption
Golem Characteristics
Extreme Durability
Golems possess extraordinary resilience. Standard weapons and conventional tactics are largely ineffective. High Strength operatives are essential.
Devastating Power
A single Golem can level buildings and decimate unprepared teams. They show no hesitation and cannot be reasoned with.
Phenomenon Resistance
Being Phenomenon constructs themselves, Golems resist many ability-based attacks. Pure physical combat is often more effective.
Limited Intelligence
Golems lack sophisticated tactics but compensate with overwhelming force. They're predictable but no less dangerous.
Combat Strategies
Recommended Team Composition
- ✓High Strength: At least 70+ to damage Golem defenses
- ✓High Speed: Dodge devastating attacks and strike vulnerabilities
- ✓Team Coordination: Strong positive relationships for synchronized attacks
- ✓Fresh Operatives: Low fatigue is crucial - this is not a fight to take tired
Tactical Approach
- Identify Core: All Golems have a Phenomenon core. Locate it using high Perception
- Create Opening: Use coordinated attacks to expose the core
- Precise Strike: Target the core with maximum force
- Maintain Distance: Avoid melee range unless you have overwhelming Strength
- Exploit Patterns: Golems follow predictable attack sequences - learn and counter
What NOT To Do
- ✗Never send fatigued operatives
- ✗Don't rely on Tech or Negotiation skills
- ✗Avoid teams with conflicting relationships
- ✗Don't underestimate - always bring your best
Known Golem Types

Metal Golems
Rare but devastating. Faster than stone variants with equal durability.
Weakness: Heat or extreme cold can weaken joints
Composite Golems
Mixed materials, unpredictable abilities. Approach with maximum caution.
Weakness: Varies - analyze composition first
